well … update for my driving .. finally passed it in march this year … got 14 marks … haha… quite heng actually , coz the tester can fail me easily, by adding some 2 marks here and there.
success of driving test depends on 2 factors, (1) your luck and (2) your "form" during the test. the test road for my final test is the toughest test road i came across .. but managed to pass it coz the road conditions and tester are ok…
i think … patience, determination and courage is the key to get it … it is like selling insurance policies, its jus a number game. You will pass it eventually … jus a matter of how many test you need to go through to get it. dun believe me ?? really… its not a matter of how good your driving skill is.. see so many aunties driving on the road? coz they have all the time, patience and courage (and $ too lah…) to sit for the test..

Here is an interesting tips from Dale Carnegie on working with ‘the boss from hell’ :
1. Remember that unjust criticism is often a disguised compliment. When I was young and would get angry that another child made fun of me, my grandmother often said, "Oh, he’s just jealous." It’s true. Sometimes people are so insecure in their own success that they criticise others as a way to make their own mistakes seem smaller. If he’s unjustly criticising you, the people he’s talking to will eventually figure it out.This may be the reason behind his criticism of your personal life as well. Maybe he’s never been in the same situations — having a parent die, for example. Or perhaps he feels guilty that he didn’t take more time off when his own father died. Maybe your happiness at becoming a parent reminds him of mistakes he’s made in his own parenting. There’s no way to know for sure, but it’s possible he’s not being mean, he’s just being terribly insecure.
2. Do the very best you can
. You can’t control his attitude or what he says about you. But you can control how well you perform your job. That is bound to be noticed by the people in head office.
3. Fill your mind with thoughts of peace, courage, health and hope.
Go beyond the daily nuisances caused by this man and look at life’s nobler goals. Consciously choose to become a calm, content person who has the self-confidence to let others’ criticisms roll off.
4. Try honestly to see things from the other person’s point of view.
Put yourself in his place — with all its stresses and concerns –and you may find some clues to his behaviour. It doesn’t excuse what he does, of course, but your empathy might start to break down the barriers he’s put up.
5. Count your blessings.
I tell this to a lot of people but I don’t feel we remember often enough to focus on the good in our lives. A loving family, for example, brings rewards that go well beyond any job.

update for my driving test … taken it on last year 21 Dec … so suai that i met the same tester again …
this time … i did quite badly in the circuit … cannot really blame the strict tester … though i can confirm that he is a very very strict one …
this time .. he gave me an immediate failure for moving off (i am making a left turn, and being the first car at the stop line) when the pedestrain is crossing the road from the other side of the 7 or 8 lanes junction … cannot believe that he is so super strict … when asked around my friends if this action warrants an immediate failure .. only one of my colleague says it does .. but the rest, even those who have passed recently from school or still learning, say there is no such rules. so … should i move or not move … if i encounter the same situation next time… ?
anyway … failing second time by the same tester … i don’t really get upset at all … i guess driving test … is really jus a heng or suai game .

had my 3rd driving lesson on the lancer today…. and i still cannot catch the biting point .. coz din haf the chance for intensive practice … my instructor skipped my practice last week … and he will jus give me another 2 lessons on coming weekend .. to go into circuit … before i go for my 2nd test next next tues…. like tat how to pass…
and then today .. he brought me to drive on one of the test route .. and we came to this U-turn … where he expected me to use gear 1 to do it… then he told me .. "din i tell u before that u need to use gear 1 to do the u-turn here ? gear 2 is for ppl who are expert in driving… " …then i told him …" but …i din drive on this route before … not even when i prepared for my test the other time.." … and he kept saying tat i cannot think too much before i decide whether i wan to turn right anot … but then .. but then … but then … the thing is .. its not that i wan to think so much … its coz i still cannot catch the biting point … if my driving is so good .. i dun need to practice oredi … further more .. in preparation for the coming test… i will only haf 5 driving lessons since my first test which was like 3 mths ago…like tat how to pass… (-_-")

my past sunday …
started my driving lessons again … and realised my instructor changes his car … to lancer!! … wooahhhh… means if i pass coming test, i am ready to drive my bro’s lancer !! hahaa…. provided he let me drive .. keke.
and went for my 2nd facial … after umm… more than 10 years ago… its very good… it helps me to regain a healthy and smoother skin … and its also help me to relag … umm… can consider signing up the package… hehee.
